Battlefury, one of the most common item in DoTA. For most of the people that read this piece of crap, you should have know what battlefury, or commonly known as bf.

BF- The golden Axe (sam's trade-mark)
150% mana regen
6hp health per sec
65 dmg
a 40% cleave (for melee, if I c any sniper buy this thing, then u are wrong to be even here)

Problems here, is really bf worth buying for all melee hero?

Or even to most melee hero, is bf really a good first item?

THe advantages of BF

65dmg for 4375, less than 100$ for a dmg point is quite worth it...

cleave- COntrary to the dota description, it should be (the user become a powerful farming machine...)

hp regen (6hp regen is actually quite crappy now....vanguard 5hp, heart 1% of max hp, hood 8hp)

mana regen (150% mana regen should be more than enough to spam skill to kill, but str hero need spam skill for wat wo)

Disadvantages

-In a one on one situation, the only advantage u have is extra 65 dmg, 6hp regen, mana regen...for 4375 $, u didn't increase ur hp, ur atk spd. MKB, Deso, Buriza could actually gain an more edge (crit, ministun, -armor reduction)

-Fighting against a team of gankers (e.g.-zeus, NA, etc, I doubt you could farm much with bf)

So, I had a list that heros that should buy bf...

MUST buy

PA- (crit 400% synergize with bf can be very PAINFUL, and also PA nid battlefury to farm his next few item)

Skeleton King- (Another hero tht should buy bf, bf works well with his vampiric aura and his 300% crit. Same reason as above)

Rogue Knight and Magna- (simple, bf splash and also their skill splash damage can be painful)

Any hero that has a potential to be a carry should buy bf. They are usually heros that hav no contribution in a team fight (except by stunning spell) and not  a good ganker early game.

MUST NOT BUY

Dragon Knight- Yaya, I see tons of example people buy bf for this guy and godlike etc etc. But, the reason he godlike is becuz of the stun, froze breath and etc. He did not nid bf to become god. His ulti is a range splash. His first skill is an area fire. Dk can farm pretty well without a BF Instead of bf, you should buy radiance if he wants to tank, or hyperstone if he wants to become dps

If u wan stack two bf, you will wonder later, should i cast ulti on dk...cuz ur 2bf splash is useless when u are a range dragon...

Sand King- Why not woh? I bf plus 3rd skill can kill lots of creep very fast...but, sk 3rd skill alone is a good farming machine...U burrowstrike hit creep for two times u can kill the whole wave. Why bother BF. Especially on recent nerf Sand King is a hero wiv crappy hp and crappy armor, he can still easily raped to death even there's a bf. U buy 2 bf? Lion first skill atk atk voodoo atk atk ulti, and u r done...

For farmers sk, it's better u buy some tanking item-assault or heart, then wiv a mkb or sth if u wan be team killer. For PROS sk, buy dagger or bkb to rape enemy wiv ur allies. 

Spiritbreaker- WTF!!! U r a ganker, why buying a farming item. S@y is ur item, u can rape people with juz that item. or if u wan ministun, mkb. WHY BF!!! U get money by killing hero, not by farming...Leave the farming to other carry heros la...

Stealth Assasin- By the time this riki get a bf and a butterfly, your team will either win, with ur assist and kill rate ZERO, or ur team lose, and they blame that sial farming riki for doing nothing...

RIki is a tafu hero. He needs s@y and offering to slightly increase his hp and survivalbility. I know you can invi, but there is always ward to counter. Buy a yasha or diffusal, and gank with ur teammate la.

Others hero in consideration

-Bounty Hunter- he's actually quite useless with cleave, cuz he's a ganker. But he need the mana regen desperately to gank, and also some dmg with him  crit will actually quite nice...

-Phantom lancer- Same thing as above, he need mana to spam his first skill...

So, next time, think twice before u want to stack BFs on tiny, naga (someone really thinks of buying bf to naga...), and earthshaker...Know ur hero team potential, then only u decide to buy bf or not and if u nerubian assasin still want to be a dps, fine.........

Favorite hero- ANything but DPS

Chau Kee (X.K. Sucker) which study more about dota itself compared to his micro-biology this semester. A staunch supporter of DoTA, but get ready to blink away as he's going to lecture you how you feed using your witchdoctor

Favorite hero- Meepo (one way to screw him, buy one ward and watch and enjoy as he buy tons of ward to counter you, and wasting his battlefury $ in the process.)

Sam Law- (wex 130)The typical farmer in Sungai Petani If you wondered why this name, it ain't got any coolness, it is just the nameplate of his house car. Screw him.
Favorite- as long as I can stack 3 battlefury on him, anything is ok

Kian Hui (elrex)- Screw this skeleton king, he quitted. A typical farmer that needs hero like shadow priest and omni to nanny sit him. Somehow, this fella ditched DoTA after a few times mcb, ccb feeder noob hai lagger in garena. God, he doesn't know, he just missed another essential part of Malaysia Culture- blaming and complaining.

Favorite hero- Drow ranger,Riki, Anti-mage, and enjoy using lothar edge or blink to escape away.(But if he randomed a hero that cannot invi or blink, u just found urself another hero for ur bloodstone charge.)

Sam Hor (Noel 89)- If u think that the Sam Law and Sam Hor is the same, think again. He is a much inferior farmer compared to the great farmer Sam, but just because of that, people tend to ignore him when he's farming, and in the end he got two big ass bf to splash ur way to hell.

Favorite Hero: No particular so far ( but in my opinion, dun let him use a ganker, he hate clicking around the map to gank people)

The "mistaken Slyvester" :(Millenium earl)- A fan of D-Gray Man, and enjoy chanting the Dark earl song while playing. His favorite line- As long as my teammate fat, i die also ok. But somehow, he just dun realize that teammate would appreciate him staying in fountain...

Favorite hero: I hope it is still naga, but somehow after his naga is splashed to death by Skeleton king, think again.

Wei Kai (priestof thesun)- The hubby of priestess of the moon, and he was divorced after found out SM-ing with queen of pain. A half gank and farm playing style, he strives fury by farming when people initiate gank, and gank when people is farming

Favorite Hero: Priestess of the Moon (dun worry urself about his potm, the arrow never hits, if it hits, you would only see urself stunned for 4 seconds, and no tiger will show up and bite you.)

Hoong Ching (Good)- People say name does not represent a person's personality, and it is especially true on him. Another follower of Sungai Petani, he is a semi ganker and farmer, when people gank, he farm a bit first then come to gank, or when people farm, he gank, nobody responsed and he said he died needlessly. A great prophet. He always know when he's losing, and 95% of his saying is accurate.

Favorite Hero: Spiritbreaker (Either he breaks your spirit, or his spirit broken as he founds out that he ulti at you when u juz tele-back to fountain)

Wei Keong (phoenix 0510)- People always said, a Satan ain't need to be ugly face with a fork. He would look like jesus, and yet stabbed you when you see his happy face. Also known as happytime, he hit ur hero back to hell and yet asking around with his happy-ish face, "what happened ah,", and it only makes you wanted to hit him more.

Favorite Hero: Who cares, I buy boots of travel and farm farm farm every lane.

Chin Jian (PandiKutty) - Not really much of a supporter of Intec Dota. He enjoys more on smashing RGB AI plus and thinking ways to trap chau kee meepo all together. A player of Garena and AI, he is the total opposite of farmer, he always asked for gank even though he might be a helpless techie with no suicide. But dun make him mad, he will destroy ur hardly earned battlefury or ur Aegis with the centaur Kahn in forest.

He has certain similarities with chau kee, such as if we dun do tis tis, or if the people did not feed or something. You can say, his style is Chau Kee+ JK style, noob as JK, but likes to complain like Chau Kee

Favorite Hero: Tiny the big stone (but I wondered why he hate dagger so much.)

Jonanthan Mok (unfixed, ranging from Sonia Eric to etc etc): - A favorite player that enjoys smashing AI with CJ. But often, it is he that get smashed often and CJ has to always help him , by running afar from fountain, and often, CJ had to look helplessly as he is stunned by rogue knight and chaos knight, and esnared by naga siren. The patriah of Anti Chau Kee culture, he sought way on how to made chau kee life with AI miserable, but he nvr suceeded so far...(and made his hero

Favorite Hero: DPS (but, I think he should use techie, pluging bomb and stack a love sign in the center lane and watched how people dead in his "love"ly creation. Believe me, your NA can get six divine rapiers the moment u c him using PA, or moonfang.

Boon Hui (Ah Boon)- He's like the priest in the game. He supports, let you ks , and unknowingly doing charity to enemy by dying unknowingly. He is sometimes neglected, and when a games commences, teammate or enemy alike will treat him as a AI only, and he does his job well, following the great group of hero to gank a techie, and likewise, keep quiet if he get a dps.

However, he just don't realize that there are invi hero in this game. So, for the rikis that has been poorly raped by a aggressive Demon witch, you can consider him even you need 200 short for ur battlefury (and this riki would be sam likely), the next minute, you are 200 gold richer.

Favorite Hero: Any intel hero (and she like girl intel hero- Qop, Rylai, Lina, and he likes enchantress most. LOL)
